Caught this spider at work in my backyard. The focus has to be manual as it's almost impossible to focus on the tiny things. I hope it meets the challenge this week - "Shallow DOF"
Just thinking if the top white portion of the frame is really required. And also I would have cropped in such a way that the spider is somewhere in "thirds" with just the grass background. I would have chosen a wider aperture instead of f/8.0 for a better blurry effect on the grass background.
Also, I think that this subject is most appropriate for shooting with macro lens for bringing out the crystal clear details of the spider and web.

enlarged pic shows great details, but still agree with raj that the top white portion cud have been avoided.
